Why Would Users Hack Into a Network Without Authorization?

In my school there is a Firewall installed between its data and unauthorized users, it protects its network by preventing possible viruses, spyware, and users who just might want to make a mess of things.
I think a user might want to hack his/her way into our network:
-to access another persons (teacher, student) files and make possible changes
-to gain free internet access
-to gain access to the network administrator
-to install a virus or type of spyware software into our network
-to download software from our network
-to gain access to other workstations that may have access to banking accounts
-just to screw around

Trapping (Is it cruelty?)

The human activity of animal trapping has two meanings. Firstly, it describes animal trapping to obtain their furs, which are then used for clothes and other articles, or sold / bartered to the fur trade. Secondly, trapping relates to the use of traps to catch animals for a variety of other purposes, most usually for food or pest control. Animal trapping is one of the first methods of hunting. Trapping is safer and less expensive for the hunter. .Trapping is regularly used for pest control. Federal authorities in the United States use trapping as the primary means to control predators that prey on endangered species. It is used to reduce numbers of predators in order to increase the populations of quarry species for hunting. It can also be used to control over-population or control diseases such as rabies, mange, and tularemia. Trapping is also used for research and relocation of wildlife.

Invasion of Privacy???

I think people should be able to “track” traffic/visitors arriving at their site as long as other unauthorized users other than the website creator have access to:
-What web browser the visitor uses.
-What operating system the visitor uses.
-Who the visitor’s ISP is.
-Where the visitor lives.
-How often the visitor visits their site.
I think the information collected will be very helpful to the website creator.

My Suspension

I have been suspended from school from November 5th-9th regarding school property and an unappropriate act of mischief. I had realized what I did wasn't a reasonable or very nice thing to do and I accept responsibility for my actions. I agree to pay for damage costs and to give my apoligies to the school faculty and my fellow students.
